For many years I have been a believer in the healing properties of shea butter. SheaByMichelle was created in my kitchen in October of 2018 after talking about it for many months. One day a co-worker ordered some and gave me $10; at the time I had never created the butter and I was not experienced, but I had to deliver. Being pushed off of the ledge and being paid for something that I truly loved and believed in inspired me to continue to experiment with recipes and consistency.

 

Eventually I started to use social media to let people know what I was doing. My friends and family were very supportive and many of them bought the butters and even though they were not perfected, they continued to support my efforts. I began to frequent markets around Houston to sell my product.

 

Fast forward and today SheaByMichelle is being shipped all over the country. We have customers in California, New York, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Ohio, Utah, Illinois and beyond. SheaByMichelle has become a labor of love.
